Rails of Time: A Retrospective of Logansport's 175-Year History

In its 175 years, time has flowed through Logansport bringing hard times and good times, strife and peace, struggle and plenty. Through it all have been the people, the ones who are represented in this commemorative book. It is but a slice of the rich history that has forged the community we are today. I was given the opportunity to design this coffee table-style book.

500 Miles of Wabash | The story, in words and pictures, of Indiana's River--The Wabash 

During the late spring and early summer of 2013, newspaper columnist Mark Bennett and photojournalist Jim Avelis of the Tribune-Star in Terre Haute, Indiana, trekked from the source of the Wabash River at Fort Recovery, Ohio, to its confluence with the Ohio River south of Mount Vernon, Indiana, and found some of the many people and communities embracing the Wabash in unique ways.  The result of their big adventure was a series of stories and photographs published by the newspaper for five weeks in late summer 2013. It told the river’s story in a way that had never been done before by a newspaper. The series was tremendously popular with the newspaper’s readers and has been honored with both state and national awards. Many readers told the Tribune-Star, that they should turn the series into a book and I was delighted when they asked if I would design the book for them. 

Howard County's Greatest Athletes: A Celebration of the Inductees from 2003-2014 

The Howard County Sports Hall of Fame was established on in 2003, with a purpose to honor outstanding persons, living or deceased, who have gained prominence and have made substantial contributions on behalf of themselves and Howard County in the fields of amateur and professional sports. I was honored to design this collection of the 2003-2014 Hall-of-Fame induceeds and their stories.
